World Bread Day 2009 – Yes we baked. – Roundup and After Hours Party

World Bread Day 2009 - Yes we baked. - Roundup
You don’t need to wait any longer. Finally I’ve finished the World Bread Day 2009 roundup.

People from all over the world – both old and new bread baking addicts – followed the World Bread Day 2009 invitation and baked.

264 265 entries! I read every single one and left a comment, where it was possible. It was very inspiring to see all these wonderful loaves of bread and also fun to discover new blogs. I highly recommend to visit not only the blogs of your friends but all of them. Its worth it.

I would like to thank to all the participants! Yes we baked!

Before you head to the roundup some houskeeping and then have fun discovering the huge basket filled with wonderful breads. Every single loaf is made with love!

Housekeeping

The entries are sorted by country, then alphabetically by recipe name. The roundup is splitted up into 4 parts.

If you don’t find your entry on the roundup, it could be you did not fill in the submission form as requested or/and you forgot to link back in the body of your entry or I just somehow missed your submission. If you feel your entry should be on the roundup, please send me an email at kochtopf(at)gmail(dot)com mentioning your name, blog name, blog URL, name of the recipe and entry URL and country, and I will add it to the list.

Hi Zorra … this is my first year participating…I found your log on another blog I visited and can’t remember who it was now… but, just wanted to say thanks so much for hosting and organizing this fun event. What a lot of work this must be…I had no idea how many participants there were ! wow! good for us all !! Next year I will have to see if I can up the number from Canada… only 5 accckkkkk! that’s terrible…. but, the Italians…. way to go, … Viva L’Italia !!

okay… off to check everybody’s wonderful entries….mmmmm…. bread…..my fav….especially hot out of the oven (yep..I wreck my loaves sometimes… with butter on, because I just have to have a little taste)

  6. I haven’t seen all the entries yet but let me just thank you for your wonderful idea and for putting this together! What a list! Fantastic job! :D

Seguiremos.
    Un abrazo, Begoña

  10. Wow, what an amazing turn out…and you did such a fabulous job rounding up all of this lovely bread!!! Thank you for hosting this :D
