Summer on the table. I used for the marinated olives fresh herbs from my garden. You can use the herbs you like most. I blogged this recipe before in German. Chyk was asking for an English translation. A good opportunity to submit this recipe to Weekend Herb Blogging, created by Kalyn and this week hosted by Joanna, too.
Marinated olives
1 small jar of olives
fresh parsley, chopped
fresh rosemary, chopped
fresh thyme, chopped
fresh oregano, chopped
1 garlic, sliced into slivers (or less depending on taste)
6 tb olive oil
1 tb lemon juice
chili flakes
Let simmer fresh herbs and garlic in olive oil for about 5 minutes. Let cool. Place all ingredient in a preserving jar. Add olive oil, chili flakes and lemon juice. Let refrigerate for at least 2 days before open it.
