Leavened with liquid starter, this flavorful bread contains both whole spelt flour and durum wheat flour as well as diced ripe pears and yogurt. The original recipe calls for fresh yeast but I like naturally leavened breads (they keep longer), so I didn’t use any. It is such a tasty bread that my one-year old grand-daughter couldn’t stop eating it.
