These are not really dumplings.
My inspiration was this recipe, and there they call them dumplings, so perhaps Johanna from the passionate cook the host of this month’s Waiter, there’s something… will accept my contribution…
Baked Apricot Dumplings
makes 4 big and 6 small dumplings
1 puff pastry
7 ripe apricots
small pieces of crispy white chocolate for filling
Preheat oven to 200 C.
Halve and stone the apricots. Fill the apricots with chocolate. Fold the pastry up around the apricots. Bake for 30 minutes in the middle of the oven. Before serving dust with icing sugar.
Dumpling or not, they are delicious! ;-)
naja, da werma mal alle augen zudruecken… an plundertaschen hatte ich beim aufruf nicht gedacht, aber die kriterien passen: teig, fuelle, gebacken – und unwiderstehlich seh’n sie auch aus!
